I have wondered aloud for some time now about the whereabouts of the Vice-Chairman of the Fed, Stanley Fischer. Now we don’t have to wonder any longer. Fischer left his undisclosed, secluded location recently to deliver a key presentation in Stockholm, Sweden. And as I write in today’s (August 13′s) comments, he seems ready to finally assume the role of what I have described as a Dick Cheney-like second (?) in command at the Fed.
